At Welcome Ideas, the top of our organizational structure is our students and beneficiaries. All of our effort and energies are focused on providing services that make these individuals successful. The entire organization is focused on developing programs and initiatives that help these individuals achieve success within the tourism sector in Zanzibar.
We are in the process of rapidly expanding our staff in Zanzibar, as we hire local teachers to facilitate our programs. These teachers will report into our In-Country Director Abdulsatar (Abdul). Our entire team in Zanzibar is uniquely positioned to provide the best service and support to our beneficiaries. Each team member has impressive academic credentials and unmatched industry experience and expertise.
Our Zanzibar Advisory Board (or Board of Trustees) provide support and guidance to Abdul and our local staff to deliver on our mission and strategic objectives. Our Board of Trustees is made up of a talented group of leaders from a variety of fields within the Zanzibar Community. Our Board of Trustees in Zanzibar generously volunteer their time and energies to ensure Welcome Ideas is able to develop successful tourism entrepreneurs.
Finally, at the bottom of our organizational structure is our U.S. Board of Directors. Their goal is to support the efforts of all those individuals above them, so that those individuals can provide the best support and service to our beneficiaries. Like our Board of Trustees in Zanzibar, the U.S. Board of Directors also serve on a voluntary basis, receiving no compensation for their service.
We are committed to local leadership in Zanzibar and we're excited to have an amazing team of leaders on the ground with our Board of Trustees and In-Country Director. For Welcome Ideas to be successful, it is important that the organization be driven by these amazing leaders, who are role-models in the industry. As we hire our teaching staff, we are certain that we will continue to add to the intellectual and leadership capital we are building on Zanzibar.
Welcome Ideas will continue to partner with academics and industry leaders outside of Zanzibar, to ensure our programs and services are at the forefront of the tourism industry. Our international partners provide support to both our local leaders and our students as we work together to create more economic opportunity from tourism on Zanzibar.
